How is this different from Strong or Hevy?

Different bet. Most trackers are just a sets-and-reps log. TOGYM has a readiness engine fed by your Watch's HRV + sleep, a coach that calls real numbers off your last session, and a live AI brief tuned to your plan. Brutalist design — no clutter, no streak nags.

Do my workouts leave my phone?

No. Every PR, every set, every measurement lives in your iPhone's Application Support folder. The server only sees anonymous event counts (a vendor UUID + 'workout completed', no exercise specifics tied to identity). Backup-to-iCloud is opt-in and user-triggered.

What does Pro actually unlock?

AI program generation + AI coach briefs + any program with 3+ days a week. Free users keep the heuristic coach, readiness score, volume landmarks, full tracking, the 2-day MINIMALIST program, and the custom builder. AI features can use your own Gemini key for unlimited calls.

Apple Watch support?

Heart rate streams in from Apple Health automatically. Dedicated WatchOS app is on the roadmap.

Open source?

The exercise library uses the open free-exercise-db (CC0) for visual cues. The app code itself is closed-source for now. The privacy manifest is honest and Apple-reviewed.
